Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead NCSSM: Durham to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jay Peng, who went 9 for 13 on his way to 24 points and five assists. Peng has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Chen, who went 10 of 13 en route to 24 points.
Peng wasn't the only one working in the assists department: NCSSM: Durham was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
The win (which was NCSSM: Durham's third in a row) raised their record to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game.
