Basketball Recap: Pilot Grove Takes a Loss

After flying high against Community last Friday, Pilot Grove came back down to earth. The Pilot Grove Tigers took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glasgow Yellowjackets on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Pilot Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Glasgow, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pilot Grove is facing Madison at the right time seeing as Madison is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Glasgow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Community at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Glasgow will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Community will have lost seven straight heading into Friday's contest.
