Basketball Recap: Apponequet Regional Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Apponequet Regional had no problem doing just that on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Swampscott Big Blue 58-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lakers have posted since March 1, 2024.

The victory got Apponequet Regional back to even at 11-11. As for Swampscott, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.

As of now, neither Apponequet Regional nor Swampscott have any future games scheduled.
