Baseball Recap: Crenshaw Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Crenshaw had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They blew past the George Washington Prep Generals 12-4. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Generals, too.

Ralph Robinson was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. KAILUA Watson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Crenshaw lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Crenshaw's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for George Washington Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Crenshaw didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Jordan on the 23rd. As for George Washington Prep, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Dymally on the 23rd.
