Basketball Recap: Northridge Vikings vs. Heath Bulldogs

It was a good run, but the Northridge Vikings unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heath. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northridge has scored all season.

Jaxon Duston continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Heath, scoring 16 points along with three steals. Jordan Kaminsky was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.

Northridge's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Heath, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northridge will take on the Blue Aces at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heath, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Panthers at 7:15 p.m. Licking Valley is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
