Basketball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Mountain View and Buffalo squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mountain View had to settle for second. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffalo Bison. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-35 back in January.

Buffalo got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zayne Huber out in front who posted 19 points. Cortlan Smith was another key player, putting up nine points along with five boards and three steals.

Mountain View has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season. Buffalo has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buffalo, they have already played their next game, a 66-65 victory against Douglas on the 15th.
