Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Fort Morgan Mustangs + How To Watch

The Valley Vikings will take on the Fort Morgan Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Valley made easy work of Frontier Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won five in a row.

While Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-11, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Fort Morgan earned a 3-1 victory over Strasburg on Tuesday.

Fort Morgan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-21.

Fort Morgan's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Valley took their win against Fort Morgan in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
