Baseball Recap: Lakeview Charter Sets Scoring Season-High Against Valor Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeview Charter). They were the clear victors by a 16-9 margin over Valor Academy on Wednesday. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 7.1 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Julian De La Pena, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jacob Garcia, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
