Basketball Recap: Lighthouse Prep Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lighthouse Prep Academy can now relate to. They fell 62-52 to the Liberty Christian Academy Eagles on Friday. The loss leaves Lighthouse Prep Academy without a win on the season.

Willy Mueller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Liberty Christian Academy, dropping a double-double with 29 points and 19 boards. Mueller is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Phoenix Obermann, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 18 points and five steals.

Lighthouse Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.

Lighthouse Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they will face off against Bourbon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
