Basketball Recap: Whitehouse Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rusk on Friday, Whitehouse came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a hard 55-41 fall against the Longview Lobos on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Lobos recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Whitehouse's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Longview, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitehouse won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bullard at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Longview, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Nacogdoches at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
