Preview: Chatham vs. Hackettstown
Hackettstown have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Saturday. They will take on Chatham at 7:00 PM. Hackettstown are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Hackettstown and Dover. Hackettstown made easy work of Dover last Friday and carried off a 40-6 victory. Senior Matt Castro, who rushed for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Hackettstown's success. One of the most memorable plays of the contest was Castro's 58-yard touchdown rush in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, Chatham might have drawn first blood against Parsippany Hills, but it was Parsippany Hills who got the last laugh. Chatham fell just short of Parsippany Hills by a score of 17-20.
Hackettstown's win lifted them to 3-4 while Chatham's loss dropped them down to 2-4. We'll see if Hackettstown's success rolls on or if Chatham are able to steal their positive momentum.
