While Estero's win against Riverdale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Raiders 2-1.

Anthony Pando was the driving force of Estero's attack as he scored both of Estero's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

The win got Estero back to even at 1-1. As for Riverdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Estero will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Neumann at 7:30 p.m. As for Riverdale, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Gateway on the 7th.
