After flying high against North Valley last week, the Phoenix Pirates came back down to earth. This past Friday, Phoenix lost to the Henley Hornets at home by a decisive 57-38 margin. If the Pirates were hoping to take revenge for the 58-38 loss against Henley when the teams met last month, then they were left disappointed.

The defeat dropped Phoenix's record to 11-9. The victory improved Henley's record to 14-8.

Phoenix will square off against Mazama on Tuesday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game. As for Henley, they will face off against Hidden Valley on Tuesday. Like Henley, Hidden Valley is also coming into the contest bolstered by a recent win.
