Volleyball Recap: Tift County Takes a Loss

Tift County was the 2-0 winner over Georgia Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals on Monday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

While Tift County ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

This is the second loss in a row for Tift County and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Georgia Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tift County will square off against Ware County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Georgia Christian, they will challenge Valdosta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
