Football Recap: Rockland Takes Down Tyngsborough in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Rockland rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Tyngsborough Tigers by a score of 14-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Rockland's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Tyngsborough, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Rockland and Tyngsborough will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bulldogs see the field they'll take on Blackstone-Millville at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Tyngsborough, their break will end when they face Groton-Dunstable at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
