Volleyball Recap: Grants Pass Takes a Loss

After flying high against Willamette on Tuesday, Grants Pass came back down to earth. The Cavemen came up short against the South Eugene Axe on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cavemen in their meetings with the Axe: they've now lost four in a row.

Grants Pass' defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for South Eugene, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grants Pass is set to take on their familiar foe North Medford at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Eugene will square off against rival South Medford at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
