Baseball Recap: Coleville Comes Up Short

Coleville was the 15-2 winner over Virginia City when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Coleville lost 15-5 to Virginia City on Saturday. The defeat leaves the Wolves still looking for their first win of the season.

GAVIN PALADINO was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-2. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Logan Torix, who scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Coleville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Virginia City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
