Softball Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Comes Up Short

Skidmore-Tynan entered their game against Woodsboro on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bobcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in March.

Skidmore-Tynan's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Woodsboro, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Skidmore-Tynan will square off against rival Yorktown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodsboro is set to challenge their familiar foe Port Aransas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
