Baseball Game Preview: Mater Dei Knights vs. Civic Memorial Eagles

The Mater Dei Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Civic Memorial Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Mater Dei had taken Greenville down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Knights came up short against the Comets, falling 10-2.

Mater Dei saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Horn, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Civic Memorial started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Triad. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3 on Monday.

Mater Dei's record now sits at 2-6. As for Civic Memorial, their record is now 6-6.
