Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Maple Grove

Centennial faced Maple Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Crimson, falling 3-0. The loss leaves the Cougars still looking for their first win of the season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-20.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Maple Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Maple Grove will both be playing Rogers the next time they take the court. The Crimson will host the Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
