Germantown strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Marquette University Hilltoppers as they made off with a 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Warhawks, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brady Keller tossed a big game, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Germantown let Nolan Vogt and Liam Hagland run wild. Vogt went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Hagland went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Hagland a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jon Murkowski, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Germantown lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Germantown's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Marquette University, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Marquette University will be playing in front of their home fans against Wisconsin Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Germantown will be paying especially close attention to the Hilltoppers' matchup: after the Hilltoppers face off against the Vikings, they'll take on Germantown again at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
