Softball Game Preview: LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls vs. Sebring Blue Streaks

LaBelle has won three straight games at home, while Sebring has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. LaBelle will welcome Sebring at 6:30 p.m. The last three games LaBelle has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While LaBelle's victory against Immokalee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. LaBelle came out on top in a nail-biter against Immokalee on Friday, sneaking past 9-7. That's two games straight that the Cowboys/Cowgirls have won by exactly two runs.

Meanwhile, Sebring suffered their biggest loss since April 2, 2024 on Friday. They lost 11-3 to Bartow.

Layla Davis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Sebring's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for LaBelle, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Everything went LaBelle's way against Sebring in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as LaBelle made off with a 10-2 victory. Will LaBelle repeat their success, or does Sebring has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
