Basketball Recap: Deer Lakes Continues Home Dominance on Friday

There's no place like home for Deer Lakes, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 71-59 victory over the Belle Vernon Leopards on Friday. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 57-31 win the Leopards walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2017.

Deer Lakes pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Belle Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
