Softball Recap: Lincoln County Red Devils vs. Jenkins County War Eagles
After flying high against Thomson on Friday, Lincoln County came back down to earth. The Lincoln County Red Devils fell just short of the Jenkins County War Eagles by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the War Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Kaelyn Stacy and Kylah Turner did some serious damage despite the final result: Stacy scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Turner went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.
Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Jenkins County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
