Klahowya was handed a seven-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past Bellevue Christian 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Klahowya in their matchups with Bellevue Christian: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Charles Wright was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to Chimacum. That's two games in a row now that Charles Wright have lost by exactly five goals.

Klahowya now has a winning record of 6-5-2. As for Charles Wright, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1.

Klahowya took their win against Charles Wright when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
