Basketball Recap: Northampton Gets the Win + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Minnechaug Regional, Northampton was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 51-38 win over the Brattleboro Bears. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Emme Calkins went supernova, shooting 60% from the field to rack up 22 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Imanni Power-Greene, who posted four points and four steals.

Northampton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Brattleboro, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northampton will take on South in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brattleboro and St. Johnsbury Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
