Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crescent). They skirted past the Raceland Rams 9-8.

Crescent's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Raceland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
