South View came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Seventy-First Falcons by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

South View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-22, 25-21, 25-14.

Nitalia Carter paced South View's offense, picking up seven kills. Carter got some help from Grace Horne and her 13 assists. Carter also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aniyah Baxter, each putting up two.

The win got South View back to even at 6-6. As for Seventy-First, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-6.

South View has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Westover on the 24th. As for Seventy-First, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hoke County on the 24th.
