Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Jesuit Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 50-30 to the Kelly Trojans. If the Cristeros were looking for revenge after losing 58-48 to them when the teams met back in November of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cristo Rey Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Kelly, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey Jesuit will take on Juarez at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kelly, they will face off against Morgan Park Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan Park Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.5 points per game this season.
