Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was the 55-30 winner over Milan when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jefferson Bears took a 73-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milan Big Reds on Tuesday. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Milan, with the victory, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.

Jefferson will look to defend their home court on Friday against Huron at 7:00 p.m. As for Milan, they will head out on the road to square off against Airport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Airport is on a three-game streak of home losses, Milan a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
