Basketball Recap: South Carroll Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Jenna M Todd and Leah Miller

South Carroll lost against Westminster back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The South Carroll Cavaliers lost to the Westminster Owls on the road by a 43-29 margin. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Carroll's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Leah Miller, who posted 15 points and six boards, and Jenna M Todd, who had six points in addition to six boards and four blocks. M Todd has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played.

South Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Westminster, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

South Carroll and Severn School will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Westminster, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Manchester Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
