Gamble Montessori had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 53-37 victory over DePaul Cristo Rey. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-35 last Friday.

Gamble Montessori found their leader in freshman Aboubacar Nimega, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. Jayden McNeill was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 10 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Gamble Montessori's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-5. As for DePaul Cristo Rey, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gamble Montessori will welcome Oyler at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for DePaul Cristo Rey, they will host Cincinnati College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
