Baseball Recap: Elida Takes a Loss

Elida fell victim to Bryan and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Elida saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Miley, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Elida's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bryan, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Elida will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Miller City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bryan, they will challenge Van Wert at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
