Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Girard). They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Riverton Rams on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Girard is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Riverton, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.
