Volleyball Recap: DME Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

DME Academy was the 3-0 winner over The Rock when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The - took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Thursday.

While DME Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Juanita Hernandez paced DME Academy's offense, picking up 26 kills. Hernandez got some help from Mar Villena Dura and her 50 assists. Hernandez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

DME Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for The Rock, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.

As of now, neither DME Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
