Volleyball Recap: Lancaster Has No Trouble Against Seagoville

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Garland, Lancaster was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Seagoville Dragons 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won seven in a row.

Lancaster never let Seagoville on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-22.

Micheala Bradford paced Lancaster's offense, picking up nine kills. Bradford got some help from Kendyl Gaines and her 18 assists. Gaines also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jurnee Cox, racking up four apiece.

Lancaster's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Seagoville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Lancaster has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Kennedale on the 5th. As for Seagoville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Crowley on the 5th.
