Volleyball Recap: Fremd Comes Up Short

Fremd entered their matchup against Barrington on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Fillies/Broncos. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fillies/Broncos earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Fremd was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Fremd's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Barrington, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-10.

Fremd has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against McHenry on the 10th. As for Barrington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Johnsburg on the 11th.
