Football Game Preview: Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles vs. St. Paul Cardinals

The Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the St. Paul Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Bend Christian Academy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Fort Bend Christian Academy came up short against Tomball Christian HomeSchool and fell 31-18.

Despite the loss, Fort Bend Christian Academy had strong showings from Brayden Tibbetts, who threw for 251 yards and three TDs, and Donnie Avery Jr, who picked up 184 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when St. Paul duked it out with St. John XXIII on Friday. The Cardinals claimed a resounding 44-0 win over the Lions. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Cardinals just coasted through the last quarter.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Paul and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.5 points over those games. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
