Softball Recap: Manvel Comes Up Short

Manvel was the 3-2 winner over Alvin when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Mavericks fell 6-2 to the Yellowjackets on Thursday. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manvel's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Alvin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8-1.

Coincidentally, Manvel and Alvin will both be playing Dawson the next time they take the field. The Yellowjackets will host the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Mavericks will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
