Recap: Grainger Grizzlies vs. Cumberland Gap Panthers
Even though the Cumberland Gap Panthers scored an imposing 60 points on Thursday, the Grainger Grizzlies still came out on top. Grainger walked away with a 67-60 victory over Cumberland Gap. That's another feather in the cap for Grainger, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Cumberland Gap had strong showings from Brady Harris, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds, and Kolton Goins, who scored 21 points. Harris is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Yonts, who scored eight points along with six assists.
Grainger's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Cumberland Gap, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-18.
