Soccer Recap: Neenah Comes Up Short

Neenah and Menomonee Falls squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Neenah had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Phoenix by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Neenah couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Kolton Fleege, who's now up to ten this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Neenah and nudges their season record down to 12-2-3. As for Menomonee Falls, their win bumped their record up to 5-10-3.

Neenah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Menomonee Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hamilton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Menomonee Falls surely won't give up without a fight.
