Basketball Recap: Paris Comes Up Short

Paris fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Paris' loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine, they pushed their record up to 10-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Paris will host Charleston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine, they will head out on the road to face off against Brownstown/St. Elmo at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
