Volleyball Recap: Cincinnati Christian Wins Going Away Against Deer Park

It was a proper cat-fight when Cincinnati Christian duked it out with Deer Park on Monday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Cincinnati Christian can attribute much of their success to Anna-Kate Young, who had 14 digs and three assists.

Cincinnati Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Deer Park only served three aces.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Abby Beach, who had 20 assists and seven digs. Beach is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Grace Louden, who had 12 digs and five assists.

Cincinnati Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Deer Park, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Cincinnati Christian will be playing at home against Roger Bacon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deer Park, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Reading on the 26th.
