Volleyball Recap: Elko's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Elko was the 3-2 winner over Dayton when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Dust Devils on Friday. The loss put an end to the Indians' undefeated start to the season.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Dayton scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elko fell to 2-1.

Elko didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Reed on the 16th. As for Dayton, they will challenge Pershing County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
