Baseball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

Lincoln County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Lake Mead Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Friday.

Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will face off against Milford at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, they will square off against Indian Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Thunderbirds have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
