Softball Recap: Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers vs. Friendship Christian Commanders
Boyd-Buchanan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Friendship Christian Commanders.
Mercedes Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
Boyd-Buchanan's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-16. As for Friendship Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.
