            Softball Recap: Windham Eagles vs. Bonny Eagle Scots        
        
		
        
        
            Windham gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Friday. They never let the Bonny Eagle Scots get on the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Scots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 Kennedy Kimball made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Kimball was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news, Windham let  Oakley McLeod and  Chloe Edwards run wild. McLeod  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI, while  Edwards  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Stella Jarvais was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Windham was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .440. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bonny Eagle only posted a  batting average of  .190.
Bonny Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Windham will  take on  rival Biddeford  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile, Bonny Eagle is set to  square off against  their familiar foe South Portland  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
