North County came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 49-29 margin over the Ste. Genevieve Dragons. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Dragons are ranked 272nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North County is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Ste. Genevieve, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

North County will square off against Potosi at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Potosi's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Ste. Genevieve has already played their next matchup (against St. Paul Lutheran/Valle Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
