Volleyball Recap: Grovetown Gets the Win

Grovetown posted their closest win since September 14, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past the Davidson Fine Arts Titans 2-1.

Among those leading the charge was Abi Widener, who had four digs and two aces.

Widener wasn't the only good server: Grovetown was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory got Grovetown back to even at 1-1. As for Davidson Fine Arts, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Grovetown will challenge Evans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Davidson Fine Arts, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lakeside on the 12th.
