Southwest Seven recap September 10, 2013

North Central took down Turkey Run 75-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dillon Bailey threw for 53 yards and ran for 163 yards during the win.

The Thunderbirds made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,419 from 8,074. The improvement came about via a 75-0 victory over the Warriors last week.

Eastern Greene's Briar Martindale and Cody Hopkins have formed a dream team this season, leading Southwest Seven in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Martindale has thrown for 377 yards this season, while Hopkins has 8 catches for 282 yards. North Central's Chase VanSchoyck leads the league in rushing yards with 526.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Wood Memorial takes on North Knox. As it stands, the Trojans are in third, while the Warriors are in second.

Travis Nolting's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 75 points on Turkey Run. Bailey in the win.
